Merapi Climbing for Sunrise
At 10.00 pm, from Jogjakarta we will drive to the north slope of Merapi (1500 ASL the starting point for the climbing). Started to walk at 01.00 am, the trekking will be more or less 4-5 hours walk to get to the top. We will get to the top right before the sunrise. Enjoying the view, we will make cups of hot coffee and light breakfast. We will arrive back on the starting point around 11.00 pm. And then, drive back to Jogjakarta for lunch.
Merapi climbing for Sunrise is a challenging tour, only suitable for people who have excellent physical condition and experience in hiking. You will walk on partly difficult terrain with steep passages on loose or rocky ground. Total hiking or walking time is more or less 4 hours till the top. Please bring your pair of sky poles or trekking sticks.If you have doubt about your physical condition, please contact me.

Bromo Sunrise and Ijen Blue Fire

Day 1: Pick up service on airport / hotel in Surabaya. Transfer to Tumpang Malang. After lunch, Jeep Transfer via alternative routes to Bromo Area.
Accommodation: Hotel on Bromo-Tengger Kaldera, Lunch, and Dinner
Day 2: Early morning Jeep ride to the Penanjakan view Point in Bromo. Photo excursion to the sea of sand in the Tengger Kaldera. After breakfast, transfer to the Ijen Kaldera.
Accomodation: Homestay, Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
Day 3: Night climbing to the Ijen Crater to capture the Blue Fire of the burning sulfur. Wait until the light come and you will see the beautiful landscape of the Ijen Crater. End of Service, transfer back to Surabaya, or Bali.

Krakatau and West Java Volcanoes

day 1: pick up Jakarta hotel / airport, Transfer to Carita Beach, leave from Jakarta max. at 10.00 AM, (Jakarta-Carita +/_ 5 hours). Brief visit to the remaining foundation of the old light house that was destroyed by Krakatau tsunami on 1883, also visiting the Krakatau Volcano Observatory Post to see the tremors activity. Aftenoon activity is enjoying Sunset on Carita beach

day 2: After breakfast, sail to Krakatau with a speed boat (1,5 hours), explore Krakatau, Snorkeling nearby the Anak Krakatau Island. Landing on the Anak Krakatau to explore the Volcanic Island. Sunset from the lower rim crater of Anak Krakatau.
acc: Camp at Rakata Island or Anak Krakatau Isaland. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
day 3: Breakfast and Relaxing, after packing we will sail to another snorkeling spot on the west side of Rakata Island. After lunch, the boat will take you back to Carita Beach.
acc: Hotel / Beach Cottage, Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
day 4: Early morning transfer from Carita to Cipanas, Garut West Java (+/_ 7 hours). Afternoon dinner at a nice Sundanese West Java restaurant.
acc: Hotel at Mountain resort, Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
day 5: Early morning drive to the Papandayan Crater, exploring its photogenic active crater. After Lunch, we will take you to the very interesting spot, the Kamojang geothermal area. (Sunrise from Papandayan can be arranged)
acc: Hotel as before. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
day 6: Back to Jakarta / Airport, end of services.
